[ScryMUD] Possible change from CVS->Subversion in the near future.

After discussing the issue briefly with Ben I'm considering a future change
from CVS to Subversion for version control. I Have been over the entire
subversion book, faq, etc. and am fully aware of the potential issues
surrounding BerkDB. I believe that Subversion would among other areas offer
substantial benefits in the areas of branching, merging, tagging. If and when
this happens I will be keeping several backup copies of the CVS repository as
it stands prior to conversion and will be performing regular off-site backups
of the Subversion repository.
                                                                                
This email is being sent as a sort of discovery. Does anyone on this list have
any real-world experience using Subversion? If so what positive and negative
