The issue here is that the balance issues problems gone to far to easy remedy.
While simply fixing existing players it possible, it only means we'd have to
wipe them in order to implement our other goals, which involve chaning the
format of the pfiles in addition to the structure of the skill tree.

I routinely leave a path of destruction behind me when i hunt, which includes a
vast amount of loot newbies could not otherwise obtain.
Also, i'd like to point out how non-remorts hunt, they basically hunt bandra,
then kill Jakarta guards, and some times a few River City guards just to make
it interesting.

They can not, by themselves, get any of the uber stuff that most remorts have
now. No dragon mail, which is lvl 16 req., no sos, no ds eq. All because the
mobs were made tougher to accomidate multi-remorts. Plain and simple, mobs are
too tough now for the average player because otherwise the remorts would
splatter everything in a round or two.

It used to be that a level 16 warrior type and a healer, with some support
damagers could kill the dragons, and get the dragonmail which was meant to be
obtained at their level. I tanked my first dragon when i was lvl 16, non-remort
and it was a blast, it took me, loki, quad, raij and cynder to do it, and it
was a pile of fun. Unfortunately, unless you are a multi-remort, you don't have
much hope of tanking them. Sure, maybe with a charmie as the tank, but not a
player.

And that really is the point. Things aren't any fun anymore. No challenge.
That's what we are working to fix now. It might suck in some ways, but in the
end, everyone will enjoy scry again.

But, we will not forget our older players who have worked very hard to obtain
what they have. We will reward you in some way, but we are not sure how yet.
