Gosh, it's been a while since I thought about those..not sure I
implemented them or not....  Ok..just checked.  I implemented
aliases in Hegemon, and consider it a client-side issue, so to
get the behaviour you want, use Hegemon or some other smart
client..there are many out there designed to make playing muds
easier...
